    Question

No I do not have the restictor in. What is really screwy is that the Cartech worked just fine until now with out the restictor and everything. The only changes I made to the fuel system from b4 was that I drill the relief hole in the regulator, now I have this crazy problem. Could it be that since the boost is going 4 lbs more then b4 that I HAVE to use the signal restrictor? For now I have my old JR unit in place but I am thinking about opening the Cartech up again, using some of that sticky shit JR used to send with the blower kits and sealing that bitch up real good. If anybody can explain to me why it worked flawlessly b4 with out the restrictor and now won't work, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

"No I do not have the restictor in. "

You need the restrictor in, otherwise you won't be able to lower the fuel pressure.

It's a balance issue, and the one side of the regulator if not restricted won't ever be less then the bleeded side.

But why did it work flawlessly b4 and not now? That is what I don't understand, I didn't change anything and all of a sudden it is going crazy. I am gonna look around and see if I can find the restrictor but could someone explain why it worked b4 and not now. Thanks.

I don't know, but I do know that when I didn't have the restrictor in, I couldn't lower boost pressures at ALL. When I put the restrictor in.., full control.
